Halloween Themed Meringue Kisses tower

I love anything Meringue, and these Meringue kisses are pure joy! They are crispy on the outside soft on the inside and look as good as they taste. You can customize them and the possibilities are endless. This Meringue tower is a real beauty!
There is enough meringue in this recipe so I piped some striped kisses, striped star swirls, white kisses with sprinkles and plain white ones that I painted with gold luster dust. The combination of these on the tower came together very nicely.
The cookies can be served as is but these Meringue towers are so much fun to put together. They add some height to the table and are just stunning!

Equipment:
Baking sheets
Parchment paper
4 piping bags
2 round piping tips, 1 star tip
Paint brushes
8 - 10 inch high Styrofoam cone
Pretty paper to cover the cone
Ingredients:
Meringue
200 g egg whites
400 g caster sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Royal Icing
230 g Confectioners sugar
2 Tbsp Meringue Powder
40 ml water
Gold Sprinkles
Candy Googly eyes
Red and Black Food Colors
METHOD:
Wrap cone with paper and place it on your serving dish
Preheat oven to 215 F
Fit 2 Piping bags with big round nozzles and 1 with a star tip. Set aside
Prepare Royal icing first. Sift the Confectioners sugar, add the meringue powder and start stirring on low in a mixer
Add the water slowly and mix till fluffy
Add few drops of water to loosen it, (don’t make it too runny)
Put in a piping bag and set aside. Before using you can just snip off the tip of the bag with scissors
Make meringue
Whip up egg whites gradually add sugar and whisk on high till glossy and stiff
Prepare your Piping bag fitted with round tip. Paint 4 straight lines on the inside with the gel colors. Alternating red and black
Carefully add the Meringue to the bag and pipe kisses on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Hold the bag straight and a little away from the sheet, apply pressure, then stop and pull away, you will have a perfect kiss!

Paint the bag fitted with the star nozzle in the same way, pipe some swirls on the tray and add googly eyes to them

Just add meringue to the 3rd bag fitted with the round tip and pipe plain kisses. Add sprinkles to half of them and leave the rest plain
Bake everything at 215F for 15 mins and then lower the oven to 200F and bake for 45 mins. Let them cool completely in the oven
Mix some Gold luster dust with lemon extract and paint the plain white kisses
Pipe some royal icing on the back of the kisses and attach to cone. Hold in place for a few seconds and then move on the next. Start at the bottom and make your way up all around
Enjoy!

Some helpful tips:
Add the first layer of kisses at the bottom, let them dry for a few minutes and then do the next one
